claudia @ ceFnow see? i can make this. because it's a crumble - not a friggin pastry crust which i hate. in case you didn't know.

good job - and great fruit combo.

by the way - my latest fruit thing. take 2 T sugar, 1 T salt and a chili or even cayenne pepper... grind it up and sprinkle it on oranges or apples or pineapples or mangos or anything at all and it is a huge wow.

KimWelcome back, it's about time you cooked us something.
You would make a mighty fine baker, that is one good looking dessert!
Royal Joust? Is that a Royal Joust because it has about $100 dollars worth of raspberries in it? :D I almost bought raspberries yesterday but at $6 a little container I moved on.

ninaHoly crumbs, but this looks delicious. I love the mango and raspberry combo. I must say that I have never had mango in a warm dish, maybe I'm missing out.

DonaldSharon - thanks, I am getting there. I've got a few more desserts to come!

Claudia - I've worked with a little puff cement pastry in the past, so I know how you feel. I'm liking the sprinkle idea. I'll have to give that a try.

Marye - thanks, it was delicious. I love mangos!

Bren - too late! Poof!

Kim - Thanks, it's good to be back. Yeah the raspberries are really expensive. I have extra that I have to use up.

Nina - thanks. I love mango in all kinds a ways. Just think of this as pie! Oh so good pie!

NikkiI'm so very glad that you've ventured back into the kitchen.

And why can't you enter this into this month's joust? Add some lime zest to the fruit, some almonds into your crust, and you're good to go, my friend!
