DonaldKat - I know right. Two other bloggers made them in the past two weeks. I guess folks have a hankerin' for gyros! :D

NikkiHey! Gyros for you too! Yours look good. I really do wish I hadn't eaten my wares and had something to show for it. Your waffle fries look good too.

SharonWow, I suppose I didn't realize it was possible to make lamb gyros without cooking the lamb on one of those spicket things they have in gyro joints :) My husband would be floored if I made these.

DonaldRuth - You really should try them. I'm surprised that you never heard of them.

Nikki - I thought that you posted about your gyros. Oh well. Make sure that you blog about them the next time you do.

Sharon - I didn't realize it either - that is until the great one, Alton, made them on Good Eats. I was floored on how easy they were to make.

Claudia - Thanks for stopping in and for the kind words. You and I are in the same "I heart lamb" department. As a matter of fact I just bought a leg for this upcoming Sunday. Seven hour leg of lamb!

New Cook - Thanks for hitting me up. Be sure and stop in from time to time. I am sure that I'll be seeing you in the forum.

Donaldwhite on rice - Thanks. I was surprised at how easy they were to make. We too get cravings for them and now they can be had on a week night! The fries are a must with this, but I cannot take the credit for them. They're Ore-Ida's; from the freezer to the deep fryer. Nice smiles! :)

Sam - thanks for stopping by. They were quite tasty.
